How Does it Work?
- Customer files a claim that is approved through Kaley
- Customer immediately receives an email to get their virtual card on a secure page
- Customer is linked back to your store (they are restricted using the MID issued by your payment processor within the card’s settings so they can’t use it at another merchant)
- Customer uses the card to make their purchase and you see the new revenue immediately!
- Note: Virtual card is only available for use online
Why Does it Provide a Better Customer Experience?
- More reliable and doesn’t conflict with ongoing sales or promos that customers have outside of Extend, they can now use both!
- The card includes a buffer amount to cover shipping and taxes costs, which cannot be covered through the promo code (these are covered by Extend, no out of pocket cost to the customer)
- The card is funded just in time, so we can support a wide range of shipping and taxes across different customers, stores, regions
- The card is fully automated, secure and instantaneous – the customer can use it the same as they would a credit/debit card at checkout
What Changes For You?
- Your platform integration will no longer generate Extend promo codes issued to customers to purchase their replacement
- You will no longer receive credit memos reimbursing you for the promo codes, Extend pays for the cost of replacement
- Please note, the coupon codes will no longer be available as a solution after April. There is no action required on your side to change to this new experience
